Hope House 5k Registration

16 03 2009

Hope HouseFriday night is the 10th annual Caitlin’s Help for Hope House 5k, and it starts and finishes in Harbor Town Square at Mud Island.  This is an event for the whole family with food, music, and door prizes!

Hope House is a day care facility for children whose little bodies are infected with or whose lives are affected by the AIDS epidemic.  Caitlin Steiger organized the first Hope House 5K while running cross-country for White Station High School.  She has since gone to college, but the race now bears the name of its founder.

This week, you may drop by Fleet Feet Sports and register before the event — avoiding the registration lines on Friday night (please bring cash or checks).  Your race t-shirt and goody bag await!  Registration is currently $20, but on Friday night (at the race) it will cost you another 5 bucks.  You may also register on-line here.

The forecast for Friday is sunny with 100% chance of victory!  Gather the family and come on down to Harbor Town.  Kick off the spring running season by helping the children at Hope House!
